The new Graphene-enhanced, tubeless-ready Corsa Speed showed a 40% advantage over the same product without Graphene. Corsa Speed Tubeless-Ready (TLR) Vittoria’s Corsa Speed TLR is our first tubeless-ready product for road cycling and uses a cotton Corespun casing. Leveraging decades of experience in handmade cotton tires, Vittoria has developed the technology to create the lightest tubeless tire in the market at 205 grams. Its construction and the use of sealant makes it capable of self-healing virtually all punctures. The tread for Corsa Speed consists of Vittoria’s G+ Isotech compound, which is Vittoria’s unique compound with revolutionary material Graphene (as provided by technology partner Directa Plus). The Corsa Speed (TLR) is available in size 23-622 (700x23C). Corsa Speed Tubular Vittoria’s Corsa Speed is also available in a tubular version. Fi'zi:k is pleased to share and celebrate with you another great Tour de France. An unprecedented and undeniable triumph, achieved thanks to Chris Froome's maillot jaune (Team Sky and Antares 00 rider) and crowned by the second and third places of Quintana and Valverde (Team Movistar, both Antares 00), for an all-fi'zi:k podium. Besides the already mentioned yellow jersey, fi’zi:k got the polka dot jerseys (Chris Froome), the maillot blanc of Nairo Quintana the team classification (Team Movistar) and the combativity award with Bardet (AG2R-La Mondiale). The overall title came with 7 stages victories, such as the stunning performance of Rohan Dennis in Utrecht or the outstanding climb of Alpe d'Huez of Thibaut Pinot. This year's edition saw 7 out of 22 participating teams battling on board of our saddles, whereas 7 aces distinguished themselves in the peloton racing with our #R3B shoes. Team Sky's Chris Froome, aboard his Fi'zi:k Antares 00 Saddle, has won the 2015 Tour De France. After three weeks and 21 stages, the 30-year-old racked up a winning margin of 1:12 mins over movistar and Fi'zi:k's (Antares 00) Nairo Quintana. Third Place on the podium went to Quintana's Teammate Alejandro Valverde, who also uses Fi'zi:k's popular Antares 00 Saddle. Elsewhere, Quintana once again showed he's one of the finest GC riders in the world, winning the best young rider award, with further highlights including Rohan Dennis (BMC and Fi'zi:k R3B Shoes) winning the prologue in Utrecht and Fdj's Tribaut Pinot (Fi'zi:k Arione) victory on saturday's Alpe D'Huez stage.
Carbon fiber is the material of choice for nearly every bike component. There are some exceptions to this, but carbon wheels have been used at every level of the sport for over a decade now. They are incredibly useful across different applications in that the same set of wheels could be used on many terrains and surfaces. In the last year, Vision carbon fiber wheels won elite cyclo cross world cups and Grand Tour stages. With that in mind, which carbon wheels should you choose for your bike? FSA MegaTooth chainrings, the latest in technology to meet the needs of top riders, and an answer to the strong market demand for “1X” (Pronounced ‘ONE BYE’) drive train systems; systems that are simple, light and robust, with one only chainring at the front and a wide range cassette at the rear. 1X systems require a special chain ring with a very unique tooth profile that is quite different from traditional chain rings. Why? The reason is simple: with 1X systems there’s no front derailleur or chain device to retain the chain and prevent chain drops, so the chainring itself must retain the chain.
